I’ve been drawn to stories for as long as I can remember and I believe they are the thread that holds us together. The novel we open to help us process life’s events is just as important as the family histories told around dinner tables. The words we share shape what we believe, inform the actions we take, and help us know who we are.
I’m a midwestern born and raised, post-collegiate newly-wed nomad, who returned to my roots to complete grad school, start a family, and start a business.
When I write for work the majority of the topics are determined by clients. Here, I write about what’s on my heart, what’s on my mind, what’s happening in the global world and what’s happening in the world defined by the walls of my home. Sometimes those sentiments pull in different directions and sometimes there is absolute alignment. I write to gain perspective, to celebrate victories, and to try to find laughter in moments that sometimes make no sense.
